In an exciting collaboration with the Foundation for Environmental Stewardship (FES) Buddy Program, we were thrilled to take part in Solastalgia Zine's rebrand to support their meaningful work. This youth-led initiative works to amplify young voices on pressing issues including climate justice, eco-anxiety, and eco-emotion.
Here's a closer look at what we did as part of this initiative:
Logo Redesign: We kicked off the rebranding process by redesigning Solastalgia Zine's logo to reflect its values in a modern, eye-catching way. This brand identity update speaks to both current supporters and potential new followers.
Updated Visual Language: We introduced a refreshed colour palette and fonts across all brand elements to establish a consistent, recognizable identity that communicates urgency and hope.
Custom Socials Templates: We created a set of custom templates for Solastalgia Zine's social media platforms to allow for visually appealing posts that engage the community, encourage shares, and spark conversations.
Business Card Design: To make every interaction a physical reminder of their purposeful work, we designed new business cards for Solastalgia Zine members.Sticker Pack: To help with awareness efforts, we developed a sticker pack featuring visually striking designs that are perfect for laptops, water bottles, and anywhere else that might catch an eye!
We are proud to be a part of enhancing Solastalgia Zine's appeal and expanding its reach. Follow their important journey at @gensolastalgia!

It was such a pleasure working with Marta and the Swank Team! They took the time to understand our needs and wants for our team’s rebranding and logo redesign. They were very responsive in each step of the process and were very open to feedback to make sure we were very satisfied with the new designs for our team. Swank also provided feedback on our zine project and further supported us in designing additional materials from social media templates, stickers and business cards. I can’t recommend them enough for the work they do and especially in supporting youth initiatives!
